Applying for Financial Aid

The (school code 2400) should be completed to be considered for need-based institutional aid and the (school code 002765) serves as the official application for federal aid.  If you are an International undergraduate student (non-US citizen), only a (school code 2400) is required to be considered for need-based institutional aid. To ensure adequate processing time, we recommend that you file your CSS Profile and FAFSA as per the deadlines below. 

  • Be sure to provide a valid Social Security Number on the Admission Application or directly to Student Financial Services. 

Application Types

Early Decision I and Early Decision II are binding admission programs which require a deposit. The Early Decision I deposit deadline is February 15 and the Early Decision II deposit deadline is March 1. 

Timeline for Early Decision I Applicants: 

  • October 2024: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 2400 
  • November 2024: Create an FSA user ID and password for all FAFSA contributors  
  • December 1, 2024: Priority deadline to complete the CSS Profile  
  • December 2024: Complete 2025-26using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 
  • Late December 2024: Award notifications emailed to students with completed CSS Profiles 
  • February 1, 2025: Priority deadline to complete the FAFSA 
  • February 15, 2025: Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposit 

Once a deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to my.Marist to view and complete additional requirements. 

Timeline for Early Decision II Applicants:

  • February 1, 2025: Priority deadline to complete the CSS Profile
  • February 15, 2025: Priority deadline to complete the FAFSA 
  • Mid-February 2025 (Rolling Notification): Award notifications emailed to students with completed CSS Profiles 
  • May 1, 2025: Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposit 

Once a deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to my.Marist to view and complete additional requirements. 

The is required for all International Applicants seeking need-based institutional aid. Please note, the college is unable to provide full scholarships. Marist's CSS Profile School Code is 2400. 

-October 1, 2024: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 2400 

-December 1, 2024: priority deadline for Early Decision I Applicants and Early Action Applicants. 

-February 2025 (Rolling Notification): Award notifications emailed to students with a completed on file. 

- May 1, 2025: Marist deadline for first year enrollment deposit 

Timeline for Spring 2025 Transfer Applicants 

  • October 鈥� December 2024: Update Federal 2024-25 FAFSA School Code to 002765 for Spring transfer applications. 
  • November 2024 (Rolling Notification): Student financial aid packages emailed on a rolling basis to Spring admitted students. 

Once deposit is made: Students who have received a financial aid package should log on to myMarist to view and complete additional requirements. 

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance. 

Timeline for Fall 2025 Transfer Applicants 

  • October 2024: Complete the using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 2400 
  • December 2024: Complete 2025-26 FAFSA using Marist鈥檚 School Code: 002765 
  • March 2025: Student financial aid packages emailed on a rolling basis for Fall admits. 

* Transfer students' deposit deadline is typically two to three weeks after acceptance.
