Picture this: You鈥檙e sitting in front of the fire, snow is falling outside your window, and you鈥檙e sipping a cup of hot chocolate, all while getting ahead on your degree. Marist鈥檚 Winter Session allows you to continue learning in an online format throughout your winter break, to help you stay on track with your degree and offers you the flexibility you need to enhance your Marist experience. 

Details

Winter Session courses are priced at $825 per credit and will run for four weeks - December 14, 2024 through January 17, 2025. Winter 2025 online registration begins on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. and will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. each day. Winter registration closes November 27 at 5 p.m. online. Registration for Winter is not based on earned credit hours, so all students may begin registering as early as Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.

By taking advantage of Winter Session courses, you can diversify your academic career. It gives you the opportunity to take classes that interest you, or courses that broaden your knowledge in diverse areas to make you stand out.

Interested in fitting more experiences into your four years at Marist? Taking Winter Session courses is a great way to free up space in your schedule to incorporate new things! Now you'll have the opportunity to do things like:

  • Add a second major
  • Add a minor or concentration
  • Register for that fun elective you've had your eye on
  • Complete an internship
  • Study abroad

All students taking a fully online course are strongly encouraged to complete Brightspace orientation. Brightspace is the Learning Management System where your course will be housed. You can begin the Brightspace Orientation at any time, available through myMarist. You will receive an Online Student Welcome Kit for additional information prior to the start of your class.

  • Non-Matriculated / Visiting Undergraduate Students:
  • Current Marist students: Winter session is a great way to catch up on credits. You can register through the myMarist portal concurrent with spring registration.
